Jaybird: Jaybird is a contemporary movement studio offering yoga- and pilates-inspired classes by candlelight in a heated infrared room. Fuelled by good, loud music, Jaybird is a place where you can get out of your head and into your body.

Role Summary
The Social Media Manager is a key member of the marketing team, responsible for shaping a bold, story-driven, and community-connected presence for Lagree West and Jaybird. You’ll lead our social strategy, oversee content creation, and drive visibility and engagement across digital platforms.
You’re a creative thinker, a strong communicator, and a natural storyteller—someone who can transform a moment into a message, and a brand into a feeling. You understand that behind every post is a deeper story about movement, community, and belonging. This role blends strategy and execution—you’ll bring big ideas to the table, lead projects from start to finish, and ensure every touchpoint reflects the energy, values, and voice of our brands.
Core Responsibilities
Social Media
Own and grow the social presence for both brands across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms
Build monthly content calendars aligned with brand campaigns, community initiatives, and studio programming
Manage day-to-day posting, scheduling, and real-time engagement, ensuring a consistent, on-brand voice
Monitor trends, platform updates, and audience behavior to inform strategy
Analyze performance and develop reports with clear insights, learnings, and opportunities
Proactively pitch and lead new content formats, series, and campaigns
Use content to tell compelling stories that bring our brands to life—highlighting the community, energy, and science behind the movement
Content Creation
Lead content strategy with storytelling at its core—ensuring every piece of content reflects who we are, what we stand for, and how we make people feel
Collaborate with internal teams, instructors, and creatives to produce original, high-quality content
In collaboration with the Marketing team, build and maintain a roster of content creators (photographers, videographers) and ensure consistent, high-quality, and fresh content across social platforms and formats—all within budget
Source, curate, and repurpose high-performing UGC (user-generated content)
Coordinate and support content shoots in-studio and at events
Digital Marketing
Own the strategy, execution, and performance of paid social campaigns (Meta, Google, and emerging platforms)
Lead ad content planning—ensuring alignment with brand tone, creative standards, and campaign goals
Set and manage ad spend within budget, optimizing for performance and ROI
Shift focus and reallocate spend as needed based on performance insights and evolving priorities
Define and track key metrics (CTR, CPC, conversions, engagement) to evaluate and improve campaign effectiveness
Maintain a paid ad calendar and share regular performance updates with strategic recommendations
Stay current on trends, tools, and best practices to continuously evolve our digital marketing efforts
Brand & Community Engagement
Actively engage with community members online and in person to stay grounded in the guest experience
Support influencer and ambassador partnerships—oversee communication via social, and content tracking
Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, values, and visual standards
Analytics & Reporting
Track and report on content performance and social engagement across all channels
Monitor campaign and ad performance with an eye toward growth and refinement
Share monthly performance recaps with clear insights and strategic recommendations
Key Requirements
Must-Haves
3+ years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital storytelling (bonus if within fitness, wellness, or lifestyle industries)
Strong creative eye and deep understanding of brand tone, storytelling, and visual identity
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
Strategic and proactive—you bring new ideas forward, own projects, and drive results
Passionate about storytelling in all forms—visual, written, and experiential—and how it connects people to spaces, brands, and purpose
Eager to immerse yourself in the Lagree West & Jaybird experience—and reflect it authentically across every touchpoint
Proficiency in:
Instagram & TikTok (platform growth, content creation, trend-tracking)
Canva & Adobe Suite (design, editing, creative development)
Meta Business Suite (scheduling, ads, reporting)
Google Drive (organization & collaboration)
Notion (content planning & project tracking)
Video Editing Tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere, CapCut, iMovie, or similar)
Nice-to-Haves
Experience working within boutique fitness, wellness, or lifestyle brands
Paid digital marketing experience beyond Meta and Google (e.g., TikTok Ads, YouTube Ads)
Photography or videography skills (basic shooting techniques)
Knowledge of influencer marketing tools and platforms
Email marketing platform experience (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar)
SEO basics for social media and blog content
Certification(s) in digital marketing, paid media, or creative design (optional)
Measures of Success
Consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across platforms
Content calendars and campaigns delivered on time with minimal revisions
Paid campaigns meet or exceed engagement and conversion targets
5–10% monthly growth in followers, reach, and engagement
Increase in community UGC and positive brand mentions
100% responsiveness rate to social engagement within 24 hours
Content highlights brand storytelling, not just promotion
Proactive, timely communication with internal teams, executives and external partners

Type: Full-Time, Hybrid
Schedule: Monday - Friday with flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
Salary: $65k-$85k
